Video game writers, we want YOU! That’s right, Game Theory - your number one source for game industry insight, opinion and analysis – is looking for a few good men and women to help fill out the ranks of its editorial staff. We’re currently on the hunt for freelance contributors and interns in the following areas:
News Writers – Responsibilities include researching and reporting breaking news, sourcing quotes from subject matter experts and interpreting and analyzing daily news to highlight the deeper underlying issues behind today’s top games industry headlines. News writers will also assist with researching stories, posting content from partner sites and providing ongoing industry commentary and analysis.
Feature Writers and Columnists – Primary responsibilities include writing regular features, columns and interviews on video games and gaming trends, as well as stories which take a deeper look at the individuals and issues which impact the video game business. Contributors will also provide opinion pieces, editorials and ongoing commentary and analysis of the gaming industry on a regular basis.
Graphic Designers – Talented graphic designers, artists and illustrators wanted to help with the creation of story artwork and promotional graphics. Responsibilities include the production and layout of front page photos, supporting article images and featured stories themselves. Ability to design attractive PDFs, charts, graphs and infographics a plus.
